Mike - Associate Manager

Mike is a Forest Grove, Oregon native with longstanding ties to Rockaway Beach and the Oregon Coast. He spent much of his childhood at his grandparents’ cabin on Lake Lytle and later became part of the Kyle family through his marriage to Amanda, Ruth Kyle’s great-granddaughter. He is a graduate of Jesuit High School in Portland and earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of North Dakota.

A proud U.S. Air Force veteran, Mike served on active duty from 2000 to 2015 and continues his career in public service with the Air Force as a civilian leader. His approach to hosting is rooted in stewardship, reliability, and long-term care of the property to ensure future generations can continue enjoying Rockaway Beach and the Oregon Coast.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys hiking throughout the Pacific Northwest and spending time with family along the coast.
